The Chakras are the energetic vortexes in our bodies. Chakra is a Sanskrit word that translates as wheel. There are many chakras within the body but we will be focusing on the seven main chakras.  These chakras are often depicted as different colored orbs running along the spine.  The concept of chakras originated in India sometime between 1500 to 500BC. They each have their own colors, mantra, element, and emotional and physical aspects.  Now with the popularity of yoga and alternative healing methods, chakras are becoming more and more well known around the world.
